Paige Spiranac is a rising golf talent, media personality, and online influencer who's on a mission to show how much fun golf can be while making a positive impact on the world. She's passionate about growing the game, especially amongst young women, and fighting against bullying, both online and off. She is always excited about finding innovative ways to reach new audiences and to spread positive messages.
Before golf, Paige trained as an Elite gymnast. Although she had her sights set on the Olympics, a fractured kneecap forced her to reevaluate her career. While recovering, Paige ultimately decided that while she still wanted to try her hand at professional sports, it was time to retire from gymnastics at the age of 12. After some trial and error in different sports, she eventually fell in love with the game of golf.
Following a successful junior career, Paige attended San Diego State University where she was the captain of the women's golf team as well as a member of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee. During her senior year, the discovery of her Instagram account by the media coupled with a viral YouTube video thrust her into the spotlight. Upon much consideration as well as encouragement from friends and family, Paige decided to take her first step into the world of professional golf.
Since hitting the ground running, Paige has been traveling the world playing competitive golf as well as collaborating with companies such as Callaway, Descente, Topgolf, Golf Digest, and TheCHIVE on creative media projects and appearances. Paige is extremely grateful for all of the opportunities she's been given so far and can't wait to see what the future holds!
Paige is intensely passionate about doing her part to stop bullying, especially cyberbullying and online hate. She is an official ambassador for The Cybersmile Foundation and often speaks out about her many experiences being bullied throughout her childhood, college, and golf career.
Encouraging women to be themselves, fight for what they believe, and to embrace their true calling in life is extremely important to Paige. Through hosting events and clinics, supporting other incredible young women, and posting inspirational messages, Paige hopes to help women not only discover the game of golf but to also feel empowered to achieve their wildest dreams.
Embracing the Fun in Life
From hosting fun golf clinics to partnering with companies like Barstool Sports, Topgolf, and 18Birdies on exciting, innovative events, Paige is always looking for ways to add a little more spice to life. When she's not in the gym or working on her game, you're likely to find Paige playing around with trick shots, discovering new cultures while traveling the world, and enjoying her hobbies, like reading comic books and exploring the world of fashion. She never takes herself too seriously and hopes to bring some of that lightheartedness into the golf lifestyle.
